Terms of use

Business Finder, run by Business Finder, shows local businesses in Manama on a map with their opening status, photos, offers and news. Looking around is free. Businesses can buy a plan to publish and promote their own page. By using Business Finder you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

• Give your real name and an email address you use, and keep your password to yourself.
• You must be at least 13 to have an account, and an adult who may act for the business to buy a plan for it.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us through Help & support if you think someone else has used it.

Places come from OpenStreetMap, the community map, and from business owners. Where an owner has not confirmed their hours, we show typical hours for that kind of place and mark them “est.”. We work to keep everything correct, but we cannot promise that every detail is right at every moment. Please call ahead when it matters.

• You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you publish. You allow us to show them in Business Finder and in its promotion while your page is live.
• Only publish things that are true and that you have the right to use. Offers must be honoured as written.
• Only claim a business you own or are allowed to represent.
• We may hide content or a page that breaks these terms or the law, and we will tell you why.

• Plans are priced in Bahraini dinars: Plus BD 7 a month or BD 70 a year, Pro BD 18 a month or BD 180 a year, Premium BD 37 a month or BD 370 a year. The price you pay is shown before you confirm.
• Each business can have one free trial. The length is shown when you start it and does not change afterwards. No card is needed to start.
• If a card is saved when the trial ends, the plan continues and is charged. Without a card, the page is hidden from the map until you choose a plan.
• Plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Billing; the plan ends straight away and your page leaves the map.
• Payments already made are not refunded automatically. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us through Help & support.

Paid placements (“Ad”, “Sponsored”, “Featured”) are always labelled, so people can tell them apart from ordinary results.

• Reviews must be about your own real visit. Owners cannot review their own business.
• No insults, threats, hate, spam, advertising for other businesses, or other people's personal details, in reviews or messages.
• We may remove reviews or messages that break these rules, and close accounts that keep breaking them.

Do not try to break into the service, overload it, copy its data in bulk with automated tools, or use it for anything unlawful. Doing so may lead to your account being closed.

We provide Business Finder with care, but as it is, and we cannot guarantee it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by wrong information about a place, or by a business's own products and services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Bahrain's consumer protection law.

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and important changes will be announced in the app. You can stop using Business Finder and delete your account at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Questions are welcome at any time through Help & support.
